Networking Sites

I read one of our fellow classmates blogs about these networking sites and how ridiculous they are actually getting. My parents always used to warn me about putting pictures, addresses and phone numbers up because of the sketchy and creepy people around the world. Well I just found out my 10 year old cousin and his 7 year old sister have facebooks when they added me as friends. Explain to me why a 10 year old or a 7 year old have facebooks, how many friends could they possibly have with facebook. Then a random person from Kansas friended me. I have never been out of Massachusetts or met someone from Kansas explain to me why he randomly friended me and none of my friends, these things are getting out of control.
